Cancellation And Refund Policy

  • This cancellation and refund policy (“Policy”) governs the cancellation of your membership of Bonanza Health Card offered by by Bonanza Medical Tourism Pvt. Ltd, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 of India, having its corporate office at 4806/24,4th FLOOR WARD XI , BHARAT RAM ROAD, Darya Ganj, New Delhi – 110002 (“BHC”) and of the membership card issued by BHC (“Bonanza Health Card”), as well as the refund of the fees paid by you towards purchase of such Preventive Healthcare Plan (“Membership Fees”).
  • In the event that you wish to cancel the Bonanza Health Card and your membership with BHC, you shall be required to intimate the same to BHC by calling BHC inbound or by sending an email to within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of the Bonanza Health Card by you. You shall further be required to return the Bonanza Health Card and all documents and other items provided to you along with the Bonanza Health Card (“Bonanza Health Card Welcome Pack”) by mailing the aforesaid to BHC, Bonanza House, Plot No – M2, Cama Industrial Estate, Walbhat Road, Goregoan East, Mumbai – 400 063.
  • However do note, this cancellation is permitted only within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of Bonanza Health Card by you and provided you have not used the Bonanza Health Card even once during this 14 (fourteen) days period with any of its affiliates to avail its benefits. Even a single use of Bonanza Health Card in any form to avail its benefits will make the cancellation request redundant.
  • On receipt of such intimation and the Bonanza Health Card’s Welcome Pack, BHC shall verify the details of your membership and the request for cancellation placed by you. On BHC’s satisfaction that your request is in accordance with this agreement, BHC shall carry out the following (collectively, “Cancellation”):
  • Discontinue the Bonanza Health Card issued to you and your membership with BHC with immediate effect; and (ii) Issue a refund of the amount paid by you as Membership Fees. On Cancellation as aforesaid, BHC shall intimate you of the fact of such Cancellation and shall inform you of the method of refund of your Membership Fees. Such Cancellation shall be subject to the following terms: Cancellations shall be considered only if (i) a valid request is made in this regard within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of the Bonanza Health Card by you, and (ii) the entire Bonanza Health Card’s Welcome Pack is returned to BHC within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of the cancellation request as aforesaid. For calculation of the aforesaid periods, the records of dispatch, delivery and communications available with BHC shall be considered final.
  • Do note, Bonanza Health Card purchased under any celebratory / festive offer, or any special / discounted offer of any kind whatsoever cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
  • No cancellation shall be carried out if you have in any way availed any of the benefits available under the Bonanza Health Card prior to confirmation of cancellation by BHC. In the event a request for cancellation is received by BHC after dispatch of the Bonanza Health Card’s Welcome Pack to you, BHC shall deduct an amount of Rs. 1,00 (Rupees one Hundred only) or 10% of the membership fee whichever is higher from your membership fees and only the balance shall be refunded to you as part of the cancellation.
  • In the event a request for cancellation is received by BHC after a positive welcome call to you, BHC shall refund up to a maximum of 50% of the membership fee of your membership fees only. All cancellations as approved by the BHC’s management as per their discretion shall ordinarily be processed within 30 days of receipt by BHC of the Bonanza Health Card’s Welcome Pack. In case of no contact post approval, the 30 days may get extended.
  • In the event the entire Bonanza Health Card’s Welcome Pack is not received by BHC within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of a valid request for cancellation by BHC, BHC shall deduct an amount of Rs. 2,50/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) or up to 50% of the membership fee whichever is higher from your Membership Fees and only the balance shall be refunded to you as part of the cancellation. Credit of the membership fees to your bank account / credit card account upon cancellation and refund by BHC shall be as per policies and timelines followed by the banks involved and BHC shall not be responsible for any delays in this regard.
  • You are understood to have read and agree to abide by this Agreement. All information in this communication is correct & updated as per November 2014 and is subject to change at the discretion of BHC. This agreement shall form an integral part of the terms and conditions governing the use of the Bonanza Health Card available on www.bonanzahealthcare.com
  • The Terms & Conditions of the BHC’s Bonanza Health Card’s Card, the doctors empanelled with BHC & the offers made on the BHC’s Bonanza Health Card card may periodically change. We hence request you to check for these changes on the website or by calling us on our help line numbers on a regular basis.
  • An BHC Member is defined as an individual who has a valid and current BHC’s Bonanza Health Card Card issued by Bonanza Medical Tourism Pvt. Ltd Usage of the BHC’s Bonanza Health Card Card by the card holder (BHC Member) implies that the card holder agrees to the following terms and conditions of service & other terms as incorporated herein and understands that these terms govern the use of BHC’s Bonanza Health Card. All BHC members are understood to have read (on their own behalf and on behalf of their dependents/family/other members) the following terms and conditions and agree to abide by these Terms of Use.
  • Bonanza Medical Tourism Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify, alter or otherwise update these Terms at any time and all cardholders agree to be bound by such modifications and/ or updates. Members are entitled to receive certain free and subsidised services from Medical Professionals / Organisations / Institutions / Pathology Labs / Radiology Labs / Others, who have done so for the cause of promoting high quality & affordable healthcare in India (i.e. for societal cause & not for promoting their practice in any way).
  • In order to receive medical services at the subsidised fee, a member must present his / her membership card to the medical service provider / others before services are rendered & agree to the applicable fee accordingly. Members must pay the medical service provider directly at the time of Service unless otherwise agreed upon between medical service provider and the member. If a member wishes to confirm the current fee for a particular dental or medical service, he / she should first contact the helpdesk number of BHC for guidance.
  • MEMBERSHIP TERM: Once the initial “Membership Fee” and any enrollment, processing or other fee is paid and received, a member will be entitled to the subsidised medical services during the membership period as defined by the expiry date given on the face of the Bonanza Medical Tourism Pvt. Ltd.’s Bonanza Health Card (from the date of activation) or as otherwise stated on the valid / active BHC’s Bonanza Health Card.
  • RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP: Members may be informed at least one month in advance before their membership card expiry date. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that BHC receives the payment for renewal of membership renewal at least two weeks prior to the membership card expiry. BHC is not responsible and assumes no liabilityfor any disruption of service in case the payment gets delayed or the payment cheques are dishonoured. In case of dishonoured cheques, a penalty will be charged. The membership card services will remain suspended till the realization of the payment.
  • RENEWAL CHARGES: The charges for renewal can be confirmed by calling the BHC helpdesk number a month in advance of the expiry date. Kindly note that any treatments being offered at subsidised rates will not be offered at these rates by the medical practitioner, as soon as the card validity has lapsed.
  • LOST CARD: In case of loss of membership card, a duplicate membership card may be issued at the nominal charges of Rs. 100 /- (plus the applicable taxes). The tenure of the membership will remain as specified in the initial membership card.
  • COMPLAINTS: Bonanza Health Card Package Members are advised to address their complaints, if any, to our representatives. They are there to help you out. However if you are not satisfied, you may write to us at our corporate office address or mail us at support @ bonanzahealthcare.com.
  • The member’s rights or duties under this agreement may not be assigned or delegated without the prior express written consent of BHC. Member agrees that he / she will use his / her package or program membership only for his / her personal benefit or for the benefit of his / her family members/others who have individual BHC’s Bonanza Health Card Cards for themselves (in case of family or couple plan).
  • The Member is responsible for paying Dental & Medical Service Providers and / or vendors / others for all services rendered unless otherwise agreed upon by the Member and Medical / Dental / other Service Provider or vendor. BHC is in no way responsible for the dental / medical / other services provided by a Medical / Dental practitioner or vendor.
  • The Bonanza Medical Tourism Pvt. Ltd’s Bonanza Health Card provides the member access to a network of voluntarily participating medical professional / dentists & other medical practitioners / vendors who are independent practicing professionals. Participating providers are independent contractors in private practice and are neither employees nor agents of Bonanza Medical Tourism Pvt. Ltd. and / or its parents, subsidiaries or affiliates (“Bonanza Medical Tourism Pvt. Ltd. (P) Ltd”).
  • The availability of any particular provider cannot be guaranteed, and provider network composition is subject to change without notice. BHC HEALTHCARE PACKAGES does not provide medical, dental or any other treatment and is not responsible for outcomes. All medical, dental and / or other healthcare services is the responsibility of the treating Medical / Dental Service provider, to be carried out in consultation with the member. Selection of the Medical / Dental Service provider is finally the responsibility of the Member and is not based on any representations or recommendations by BHC.
  • The medical & dental (& other vendors) have agreed to offer their services at subsidised fee for the cause of increasing health awareness, specifically preventive healthcare & nowhere does it construe that the empanelled doctors and professionals are doing so for commercial reasons.
  • The term “Subsidised Fee” means a service that is available to a member at a lower cost from fees normally charged by the provider and for which the member is solely financially responsible. The member understands that all payments to providers are due and payable at the time of service. In order to access reduced fee services, the member must present his / her membership & ID card to the provider’s office at the time of his / her appointment.
  • The BHC empanelled doctor shall offer the subsidised rates on treatments and procedures managed and serviced by empanelled doctor directly (& not necessarily by other doctors, visiting or consulting doctors etc.) & within the empanelled clinic premise and not for any further treatment, check or service required elsewhere. It may not be necessary that all services, tests, medical fields, doctor types are covered by the BHC BHC’s Bonanza Health Card Card & the empanelled doctors may not be able to provide subsidised service on select procedures, i.e. the subsidised services may not be offered on all treatments and procedures offered by empanelled practitioner/clinic or laboratory.
  • Any existing offer or package at the clinic or planned by practitioner may not be clubbed and the practitioner may offer only one of the offers (either offer on BHC membership card or existing packages) or on those services. The member should clarify all rates and fees before going forward for any consultation or treatment with the BHC empanelled medical practitioners & shall also clarify the subsidised rates in advance (& all other details about the treatment or checkup or test, etc.) & be satisfied about the same before starting the treatment. BHC shall not participate or be responsible for any dispute on the same (related to rates and subsidised rates once the treatment has started & costs have been incurred).
  • If a particular medical practitioner does not offer the subsidised rates as per the BHC member’s satisfaction, the member should contact BHC Helpdesk numbers & BHC will refer the member to other medical practitioners empanelled with BHC. BHC will not be responsible for providing any compensation to the BHC member for the charges levied by the medical practitioner empanelled with BHC.
  • BHC is not a merchant, manufacturer, or provider of the dental & medical services. BHC does not give any warranty, express or implied, as to description, quality, fitness for any particular purpose, productiveness, or any other matter for any services or merchandise purchased or received by a member from a medical practitioner, pathology lab / radiology lab / provider or vendor through his / her card membership.
  • In the event that any product or services purchased or received by a member is defective or otherwise unsatisfactory, the member will deal directly with the provider, seller, merchant, vendor or manufacturer of the product or medical / dental services for any repair, exchange, refund or satisfaction claim.
  • BHC & the Medical Practitioners who are part of the BHC’s Bonanza Health Card network reserve the right to revise their charges at any time. each, for himself / herself, and on behalf of any family member who uses the services under the BHC’s Healthcare Package hereby forever releases, acquits and discharges each of BHC’s Healthcare Package and its employees, officers, directors, agents and affiliates from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions and causes of action that such member or his / her legal representative(s) may have by reason of any damage or personal injury sustained as a result of or during the course of the use of any medical / dental service / Other services.
  • BHC’s Bonanza Health Card offered by Bonanza Medical Tourism Pvt. Ltd. Pvt. Ltd is not health insurance policies. The membership card provides subsidised services through its empanelled doctors at certain healthcare centers. The membership card holder is obligated to pay for all healthcare services from those Medical / Dental service providers who have contracted with BHC’s Bonanza Health Card for providing services under the empanelment agreement. This T&C and the relationship between you and BHC will be governed by the laws as applicable in India. Any disputes will be handled in the competent courts of New Delhi, India.

Important Refund Note

  • In case no contact is established with the member(s) by BHC’s central retention team for membership cancellation request, the cancellation process will be put on hold till further contact can be established.
  • Cancellation/ refund will be processed only upon receipt / return of the purchased membership kit (unused) by BHC.
  • In case there are multiple ongoing dialogues between BHC and the member(s), there may be few instances wherein the time-frame committed for resolving a case may take longer than committed previously.
