Vidhana Soudha

A magnificent building of Neo-Dravidian style, houses the State Legislature which was built by Kengal Hanumanthaiah, former Chief Minister of Karnataka in 1956.

Government Museum

The Bull Temple

Built by Kempe Gowda, this temple is famous for a huge monolithic bull that stands 4.5m tall and 6m long.

Shiva Statue

This Shiva Statue is 65 feet tall and depicts Lord Shiva who is seated in the Lotus position. This is the largest Shiva statue in India.

Ulsoor Lake

Placed in the heart of the city, this lake with its many tiny islands, was constructed by Kempe Gowda.

Getting there:

Access by Air : Bengaluru has regular flights to all the major Indian cities. The International Airport at Devanahalli offers direct flights between Bengaluru and London, New York, Chicago, Paris, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah and Kuwait.

Access by Rail : A regular train service connects Bangalore to all the major cities in India.

Access by Road : Bengaluru's large network of roads and Highway connects it to the major cities of India. The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) handles the bus services within the city while Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) operates the buses within the state as well as outside.
